Reading levels change how hard the words and sentences are. The builder picks one from your child's age, and you can change it: Toddler, Pre-K, Kindergarten, 1st to 8th Grade, High School, or College+.

Yes. Alongside your main character, you can add up to two additional characters, such as siblings, parents, grandparents, or friends. Each character needs a name, relationship to the main character, and their own portrait.

Themes include Adventure, Fantasy, Space, Animals, Ocean, Dinosaurs, Magic, Friendship, Sports, Nature, Science, History, Superhero, Mystery, and Imagination. Pick 1-2 per story. Moods: Happy, Funny, Exciting, Calm, Bedtime, or Mysterious.

Custom notes let you add details like favorite toys, recent trips, or hobbies. Teachers can upload lesson plans (PDF, DOCX, TXT, or images) to build lessons into stories. Notes can be up to 150 words.

Pick Math, Science, Reading, History, Geography, Language, or Home Economics, and the story teaches it at your child's level.

A story is one book. A series is 2 to 7 connected books, and you can add more books when it's finished.

Yes. Every book in a series uses the same characters.

Yes. Choose "Add Books" to add 1-10 books to a completed series. The new books keep the same characters and continue the story.

Each book continues the story from the one before.

There are 9 styles, including 3D Storybook, Watercolor Whimsy, Vintage Toon, and Whimsical Lines.

Previews are quick approximations to help you choose a style. Final illustrations use higher quality generation settings for better results. Minor variations in AI-generated art are normal and expected - each generation is unique.

No, the illustration style is set during story creation and cannot be changed afterward. To see your story in a different style, you'll need to create a new story with your preferred artistic style selected.

The web story builder offers Standard narration. Turn narration on, choose a narrator and narration language, then check the added credits on the review screen before creating your story.

You pick from several AI narrator voices. The choices depend on the language.

Animations transform your story pages into short animated video clips with movement and effects. Your first story includes FREE animations for new users. Afterward, animation adds 100 credits per 6 pages and requires 200+ credits to enable.

AI-generated animations are currently in BETA. Minor visual inconsistencies, glitches, or artifacts may occasionally occur. This is expected with current AI video technology and will improve over time as the technology advances.

Yes. Finished animations play in the reader and can be downloaded as video files.

Quizzes appear every 6 pages with a mix of comprehension and vocabulary questions. They're automatically adjusted to be age-appropriate based on your child's reading level. Each quiz costs 20 credits.

Quiz scores and reading progress are tracked in your dashboard under the story details. Teachers have access to detailed analytics showing comprehension trends, vocabulary growth, and areas where students may need additional support.

Base cost: a 6-page story costs 100 credits, and each extra 6 pages adds 100 credits. Add-ons: Standard narration adds 20 credits per 6 pages. Animation adds 100 credits per 6 pages. Quizzes: +20 credits per quiz (1 per 6 pages). The review screen shows your total before creating.

A story already being made will finish. You'll need more credits before starting the next one.

For new accounts, uploaded photos are used to draw your child and then deleted. Photos aren't used to train AI models. You can delete saved previews and stories anytime from the Privacy Dashboard.

Yes. Send a link; family can read it without an account. You can also add stories to the public library.
